For Dr. Booker Bair, a board certified physician by the American Academy of Pediatrics, caring for children as the area’s most trusted pediatrician extends far beyond the walls of his office for his patient’s and their parents in the city he, himself, has been raised.

 

After graduating from Poland Seminary High School, Dr. Bair went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, before earning his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). Upon graduation, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic. Once he obtained his certification in Pediatrics, Dr. Bair began practicing general pediatrics at St. Petersburg Pediatrics in Pinellas Park, Florida. While in Florida, he realized his true calling was to practice and care for children back in his hometown that helped raise him into the physician he had become.

 

Since 2005, Dr. Bair has been in private practice in Boardman, caring for children of all ages. In addition to his practice, he also serves as the physician for children at New Beginnings Residential Treatment Center, a facility dedicated to providing effective and comprehensive residential services for children and adolescents in the Mahoning Valley. Even though Dr. Bair spends his professional career caring for children, his focus is continuing to be there for his own family.

 

Dr. Bair is deeply engrained into the community through his volunteer efforts in Canfield and Youngstown athletic, school and community organizations. As a resident of Canfield, he donates his time as a youth baseball, football and basketball coach, where he provides guidance and leadership, strengthening children into strong young men and women.

 

The compassion and care exemplified by Dr. Bair is felt well beyond the walls of his office. He has always felt his calling was to serve the children of the area that helped raise him into who he has become, so he treats them each as if they were one of his own.
